i’m scared about how they will balance her out. obvious she won’t measure up to SSB but if her legendary form give both goku and vegeta’s SSB forms inconvenience then it’s still a problem.

I think it is pretty stupid that there are only 28 inhabited planets in Univers 7, no wonder the mortal level is so low. And what the heck were Beerus and the Kaioshin doing to let this happen? We saw Beerus destroying planets for bad food, and Freeza and the Saiyans were destroying planets, or at least devastating them to sell them (to whom I wonder), on a regular basis. Until yesterday I thought that there had to be hundred-thousands of inhabited worlds in Univers 7 and that Freeza maybe only ruled over a few galaxies, but how much did they actually destroy? And what purpose has the Galactic Patrol anyhow?  
WTH Toriyama, 28? Why such a low number? Even 28000 worlds would have been a pretty low estimation, but 28 are utterly ridiculous. And I am pretty sure we saw more than 28 different species by now. Counting filler, GT and Movies the expanded universe of Universe 7 must be huge in comparison to what Super is portraying…

Found your problem sport. Toriyama cares less about DB expanded material than DHX does.

I’m gonna let you in on a secret, Toriyama is an idiot with no grasp of higher story telling or world building, Dragon Ball is held up only by nostalgia and Team Four Star, take those away and it’s complete trash, just like most Shonen works,

Oh I’ll be the first to admit most shonen writers/directors are idiots/depressed/reclusive weirdos with no real vision for their worlds. They just cobble stuff together and hope it works, and sometimes it clicks, like DB or Eva. But you know? DB is fun. It’s silly and dumb and full of plot holes, but it’s damn good fun.

Universes appear to be much smaller than our real one in the DB universe. Small enough to fly to the other side of.
 
Meh, when Super Shenlong popped up the first time we saw a glimpse of the largeness of Univers 7, I have to rewatch it, and count the galaxis we see in that scene, but it looked a heck more lively than 28. Guess most of it is just empty space, I mean even more than it already is.

Well you are right, kinda, plus Toriyama is pretty forgetful, mixing up stuff, changing the rules for plot convenience. Still you have to wonder, non of the producers thinks to tell him that 28 is far to low?

Ok, so I started to watch Dragon Ball for the first time and finished the whole S1. It was fun to watch except for some dreadful episodes like the Red Ribbon tower or the Pirate cave.  
Now I am watching Dragon Ball Z. I am almost at the end of Freeza saga and holy shit how dull this whole anime had become. They are stretching every event for way too long and always leave an episode with a cliffhanger. One fucking move takes 2 episodes to complete and one minute is like 40 minutes long. Is the rest of Dragon Ball Z like this?

Yep. Welcome to the wonderful world of DBZ filler, my dear friend. That style of anime editing has achieved meme status in the decades since Z came out, and now when people do it it’s usually in self-parody. Honestly, if you want to speed things up, watch the Kai re-cut. The original Z eps had to be filled with, well, filler, because they had to stretch out a few pages or even panels of the original manga over multiple 22-minute episodes.

As silly as it was to stretch things out as they did in the original DBZ, I think I prefer it over cramming in tons of filler.  
I know there is some full on filler in it but at lest it’s not a metric ton like some more resent ones…
 
Only thing I like better is if it takes on it’s own story.  
I believe I pointed out the case of Trigun a number of times and how I like both anime and manga, and even if I ultimately don’t like the first FMA anime all that much, I respect it for doing it’s own thing and not using a lot of filler between the real story.

It’s the same just cut down in length by a better pace with no filler, and the better quality from being a redone verion from years later.  
There is no reason to not watch Kai over the original unless you grew up with it and want to see it as you fist did.  
But as this is your first time, why are you not watching Kai?
 
I grew up with the original and the thing I make sure anyone new to DBZ knows to to go with Kai unless they want that drawn out pace.

That was a REALLY GOOD EPISODE!
And it shows how Krillin, despite not being as strong, is still no slouch that you should take lightly.
 
Still, it was a bit surprising that Krillin was able to hold up with Super-Saiyan for a bit, and that Goku went Blue on him and they even had a Kamehame-Ha struggle. That was really a bit much.

Actually, it’s the Society Survival Arc.
 
The “Society Survival arc” is a story that takes place when the country bumpkin Son Goku miraculously decides to find a job during a universal economic depression, said to happen once in every 100 years. The main visual has been released, in which Goku, Vegeta and Kuririn appear as the new employees of the “DB Commercial Affairs”.

question: why didn’t the empire’s remnants revive king cold instead of frieza?
 
the only logical answer is can come up with is frieza is the more humane of the two.
 
would a third form KC be able to stand up to SS trunks (pretty much, get got caught unawares. def is down)?
