MLP:FiM’s fandom will continue just as fandoms whose shows have ended long ago have continued. Just look at Breaking Bad, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Battlestar Galactica (both the original and the 2004 reboot), Tiny Toons, Animaniacs, Sonic SatAM, etc.
