Meh. Movies artistic status were cemented within a few years of their Creation. The debate on whether games even count as art still rages on almost 50 years after their creation and the games usually held up as artistic exemplars? Generic zombie Crap like the last of us, which would barely count as a B-movie.
 
Most Adults are just to embarrassed to accept their favourite pass time is playing with toys.
 
They’re exceptions but 99% of the shit on steam, epic and the rest, ain’t art.

Alright Humans.

Some games can be and are considered high art. Witcher 3, The Last of Us, those can be considered good art. I think all video games are art, but like paintings, theres bad art, like a 10 year old’s sloppy painting of his parents is bad art, but it’s still art. Unity asset flips are bad art, but still art.

If I wanted to make you laugh I’d show you a mirror. Have you ever seen mcfarlane toys? Theyre pretty gruesome. Hell, some toys are even sexual in nature. Those games you’re refering too? They’re toys with an age rating.
 
I’ll just state that I started this whole convo with the phrase “I dont even believe” meaning this is my opinion.
 
If you believe they’re art, fine. But I don’t buy it.
