Hello again long time no see decided to get back into the pony game with this picture of Sunset Shimmer as a practice run for human anatomy.  
 
probably will be drawing more anthro and human than straight up pony now.

Quick sketch, and admittedly a little rushed on colouring too.
 
In hindsight, a sky background would probably have worked better here. The red seems to suck some of the impact out of it because of Applebloom’s mane and bow.

Ah, so it seems. I always miss something like that, going to have to make sure to keep an eye out for those, thank you for the input. Yeah the red in the picture does seem to take the focus away from Applebloom, usually using a cooler color or the opposite color (if the pony is a cool color) will help the eye focus on the character instead of wandering around the picture but honestly do what feels right.

Okay fellas, I need some thoughts on a couple of images I’m working on. It’s Octavia dressed up as Octave from Sailor Moon for Nightmare Night performing a suggestive split/on knees pose (References for those are a bit hard to come by for ponies). Here’s my WIP.
 
 

 
Tell me if there’s any improvements I can make on the poses.

Hello there, I was wondering how to turn an image into a link so I can start asking for opinions on my work and improve. :)

If the image is on the site, you can link to it by using two greater than symbols directly followed by the number of the image, ex: >>1281396
 
If you want the image to show, add an s or a t to the end of the number, ex:
 

 
If the image is not on this site, put the URL of the image between two exclamation marks to have it appear in the comment, ex:
 

 
To make that embedded image a link, put the URL to the image inside quotes, follow it with a colon, and then past the URL again, ex:
 

 
To see how these all look, just “Quote” this reply, and you’ll see the code that makes it work.

Hello! i’ve been drawing ponies for almost a year now, i’m still trying to learn everyday ^^; I’ve been really self-conscious about how my style of ponies looks compared to other great artists
 

 
I found that i am just unable to draw the muzzles in the show-style at 3/4th view, so i’ve taken my own way on drawing them
