assuming zuko’s wife is long gone (did they ever clear who he ended up with?) could they have gran gran-paku him and kataara after all those years?

Book 3 is off to a great start. First ep was way the hell more fun that any ep in Book 2.

Finished S3E4. New villains seem interesting, and they way they fight is cool. I can’t wait until Korra starts fighting them instead of politicians.
 
What was Zahir(sp?) before he was an air bender? Was he just a guy? Would like to see some depth out of the new villains. I know aiming pretty high comparing them to the Airbender villains, but I think that’s fair. Speaking of which, nice to see Zuko is alive.
 
I hope the new kid is not like Princess Whatshername, just there for one of the characters to fall in love with and advance the plot.
 
I love the casual conversation in the elevator about trying to kill the Avatar. “It happens.”
 
And I’m late for work but it’s worth it.

They won’t reach Azula Tier depth, but they will maintain Ozai’s Angels level enjoyability,

I didn’t hate Evil Uncle. I found him uninteresting. If I grew to hate him, that might be an improvement.

Well, that sounds awesome. I like the style of the new villains. I love that their water bender prefers melee combat.

I’m at the middle of S3E5. “Same mom, different dads.” Okay, now I need to know who the fathers are. Not enough to look it up, but if that goes unresolved I won’t be happy. _{Didn’t think Toph would be that kind of girl.}
 
Also, they didn’t outright say Toph is dead, so I’m going to guess she isn’t. Maybe she’ll answer it herself.

Okay, if they didn’t know who their dads are, how the hell did they know they’re half siblings. Did Toph tell them, but didn’t tell them who their fathers are? Or maybe Toph herself didn’t know? That’s not…
 
What the hell, Toph. Going from The Runaway to police chief I can buy, but multiple kids with different fathers? What.
 
On an unrelated note, the White Lotus are useless. Went to badasses to fodder in like two generations.

the theory is Lin’s dad was only a surrogate for her and Azula since according to word of god, Azula is Lin’s father toph liked having a kid but the break up with Azula left her perminately soured on relationships so she just found a guy who would help her have another kid,

Finished up to S3E7. Family drama! As a wise man once said, violence solves nothing except for all the things it does. Also, Zaheer can just magically find the Avatar. Hope that gets explained.

S3E8. I’m liking Bolin more. Developing his skills along side Korra is definately more interesting than whatever he was doing before. (Guess they won’t bother doing that with Mako because he’s already perfect in every way amirite.) Bolin’s fickle heart makes me think he’ll be faced with a tough choice down the line? Or maybe he’ll just keep losing love interests until his heart breaks completely.
 
And as I’ve said, I like the villains style. Fail stealth objective? BLOW EVERYTHING UP. Get found out you’re a traitor? BLOW UP YOUR HOUSE.
 
SE39. I don’t know how I feel about the Red Lotus yet. So, IIRC, the White Lotus were a secret group meant to transcend borders to share knowledge. After the war, they become entrused with protecting the Avatar. Someone gets frustrated with the White Lotus’ new role and makes a splinter group, but their new goal seems drastically different to the old one.
 
I think I understand their philosophy, but the connection to the White Lotus seems thin.

The way it works is simple, they believe balance and harmony come from absolute freedom, or at least their leader does, the others seem to be more strait up anarchist,
