I thought I’d have an easy time in Slam Dunk city, but. nah.
 
 
not that I mind, but I’m willing to impart saying that the O&S gank, it is a gank, it is possible to survive it, but it is also just as possible being placed between a rock and a hard place, sometimes. pretty often, tbh. about 50/50
 
and when that happens…

I kept getting ganked while farming for Shackles, though one world I invaded had two people cosplaying as those two, and funny enough, they let me fight them one-on-one (I died on Skinny, but it was still neat).

best of luck with your conquest mate, I will go about my journey to those covenant rewards while playing through to NG+7, as well as multiple characters, because there’s just no point in wasting time waiting for something to happen.
 
 
Speaking of Cosplay. I should look for that sweet mod, I think I’ll use it on break at work. :p

Yuri already helped me get them a few hours ago, so I’m good for now, and am playing a bit of DS1. Mostly, farming for souls so my Cleric can use Grant.

there’s 2 dangers I’ve concluded in this. well, 3 actually.
 
1, Ornstein.  
2, Smough’s fat belly (it can completely obscure Ornstein)  
3, Smough’s hammer’s blocking. I knew the weapon blocked all damage, but I think his handle does too.
 
 
for 3, maybe it’s a weird collision with the hammer’s head, which counts as a block. Either way, it kinda sucks when that happens, especially with a giant club equipped.
 
Either way, first phase is cool when you get the rhythm, but Super Ornstein is imo the canon phase 2 of this fight and one of the finest of Dark Souls 1’s bosses.
