Yep. Also, rapid poison is like frenzy, but without a dependent on your insight, and it doesn’t continue to build up after you are hit.

During my first chalice run I was all

Played a little more of DS3 with my Cleric. Beat the first DLC, and did everything before the Demon Prince in the second.

Been trying to beat the Orge in first area with a very slight handicap (only 50% max HP, no equipment, only Dagger) the “normal” way but have been unable to. Baiting out the sitting attack is too easy (got him to 25% HP without any weapon but then tried to face him normally and died shortly after) but haven’t been able to beat it otherwise.
 
I’m not good with ques and reaction times and I know Dark Souls is all about those.

Ogres are weak to thrust, so the rapier and arrows/bolts are a great weapon for them.

Still I’ve been trying to practice against the orge to improve my reaction times. It really is like fighting Iron Knuckles.

Only the DS2 Orge has a very misleading grapple hitbox.

 
 
now after finishing everything in the game, I can finally rest.

I completed Lapp’s questline today for my Cleric today. If there’s one NPC I refuse to kill, it’s Lapp.

oh yeah.. I always thought that was Vicar Amelia for some reason.
 
Then again, that trailer could still be accurate, assuming the Cleric Beast can move and isn’t stationary where it transformed.

I think it’s just that the games are still being worked on when these videos are made, and boss placements/environments change.
