Try to submit that idea to Uncle Bro. Even if it falls on deaf ears, you’ve tried.

Apparently wasn’t the Hub or Hasbro, was S&P…
@SeraphimDawn
Season 3 was only 13 episodes because the contract between Hasbro and DHX Media originally only called for the bare minimum for syndication. It was only because of massive positive feedback that they renewed the series.
@Background Pony
Not because of shipping. Because I wouldn’t mind I darker, more violent and action-packed FiM with more adult humor that touches on touchy subjects occasionally.
It would also help if the Hub wasn’t only offered on premium cable packages.

I can actually answer why that is and such. I work in advertising and have to deal with marketing on a regular basis.When it comes to advertising and marketing your brands it’s better to play it safe. What I mean by that is that it’s better to not take risks and assume that society is still the same as how it was ten years ago, since so many people still have their heads ten years ago or longer on their societal views. What I mean by that is a massive chunk of people are in extreme denial when society changes until it’s to the point you can no longer ignore it. Going off the idea of what girls or females in general believe or in the very matter how women and girls in general act. Take for example skirts and dresses, it’s been relatively only recently where the norm is for women to wear pants instead of skirts and dresses everywhere. It’s also only been relatively recent where society has change to where a tomboy daughter wouldn’t raise eyebrows and people gossiping about her sexuality.Now really and truly think about your views on how you think society is versus what is actually going on in the world. Is your views on how society is outdated to how society actually is?Thus the begins the vicious cycle I personally like to the call septic stereotypical cycle. What I mean by that is mass media has to generate a profit, however the problem is most of the time a company plays it safe, the way to do this in dolls and such is to assume that little girls of today are growing up in the same environments as ten years ago or else get a sh*t ton of angry soccer moms angry at you for not enforcing the gender roles of ten years or more ago. Mass media thus then enforces those outdated social ideals onto children raising them with a massive pre-disposition towards outdated societal roles. These individuals then try to raise their own children with their morals, values and views on society as they do.Now how does that impact toys for children? Easy if you do NOT make toys that fit in line with the parents extremely outdated view of society then the parents will refuse to buy the toys and will lose their mind wanting you dead.
