That’s a user problem, though. Smoking on a regular cigarette wouldn’t stop them from doing the same.

I think celebeities should be encouraged not have a twitter account. Or at least one tied to your name. It seems it could open the door for unneeded drama and tension. So many stupid things happen because someone decides to make a hot take.

Anyone who uses the Talented vs Hardworking meme for anime are really annoying. I’m gonna be honest, I don’t really care if Naruto was actually the son of Minato. The point is he was a loser at first who through hard work trained to use that power. A lesser boy would have died not even using that power within.

It just feels like a shallow complaint. It’s not like normal people don’t have a power that they can see instead of being blind. Are normal people just more “talented” then and were everything was handed to them?

We don’t need to cause a fight between anime characters. What matters is what they do with their powers. Whether they gain the power or were born with it, it matters their will to do it.

For the third point, I feel like this just restricts creative freedom. The central point is about we should treat other with dignity and respect. It’s not 1 on 1 equivalent to real life but I think you can tell which parts are meant to be more relatable and which ones not.

Allegories don’t have to be one on one.

And honestly I like the unique worldbuiling that makes it a bit different. If hypothetically we see aliens for instance, we might find these useful examples that might more 1 on 1. Not likely but you know.

The third one is what I remember hearing the most myself. If one “race” can burn down a house just by existing, than that’s a practical issue, not a social one.

The first point is what I see the most criticism thrown against it, that it’s a concept already done of two opposites attracting and having to face a tough decision. I’ll admit that the story doesn’t reinvent the wheel at all and I did predict how the story was gonna progress and end, but I thought the animation was stellar, the two leads were great characters and I liked how the conflict was resolved, I was invested in the story. Besides, it’s night and day compared to Pixar’s movie Lightyear which I wasn’t a fan of. Ultimately it didn’t matter since it made a lot of money at the box office in the end.

I’m sick of remakes and reboots. make new stuff damn it.
