I’m sick of this. It seems like it’s everybody’s goal to be “famous” or whatever. They dream of having all these people surround them, to feel loved by people they’ve never even met once in their life. Well, you wanna know what I think?
Fame is just an illusion.
It is a lie created by the media to fool people into thinking that if they be just like them, they’ll live the perfect life. They’ll be rich, they’ll have a lot of friends, they’ll basically be very happy, right? THINK AGAIN, FUCKER. You’re no different from me or anyone else. We may not be the same person, but you’re still just as human as I am. I have friends that I’ve had since kindergarten. You don’t need to be a celebrity to have a lot of friends! My cousin has a good-paying job as a computer programmer. You don’t need to be a celebrity to have a lot of cash! And what’s this whole deal about perfection?! You’re not perfect! I’m not perfect!
NOBODY’S PERFECT! As a matter of fact, I hate perfection! Perfection is a freaking roadblock standing in the way of satisfaction. That’s why I draw the way I do. I don’t care what people say about my drawings! My grandmother says that I draw like a kindergartener! A KINDERGARTNER! So fucking what?! I don’t give a shit! As long as I’m satisfied with the way I draw, that’s all that matters! “But what about these celebrities? They seem perfect.”
LOOK AT KANYE WEST. LOOK AT AMBER HEARD. LOOK AT TOBUSCUS. LOOK AT PEWDIEPIE FOR GOD SAKE! They’ve all been in the middle of LITERAL CONTROVERSY. So have I! When I started out, people called me out for uploading a meme involving Pony Life! (I do apologize for that, by the way.) Perhaps you’ve done something that you weren’t supposed to do, and you got in trouble for it. So what?! You’re only human!
So take my advice, kiddo. Don’t try to be famous. Instead, just do what you’re best at, and if someone likes it and compliments your work, just thank them and carry on.
NOTE: this goes out to no one in particular.
