I was cautiously optimistic about Equestria Girls. While it was a bizzare concept, it still had the same crew behind it.
 
This just looks like a bad Powerpuff Girls 2016/Unikitty ripoff (keep in mind I actually kinda like Unikitty).

aren’t you being a little, you know, hypocritical, though? you said you gave EqG a chance and that you’re a fan of Unikitty, so why not reserve judgement until its premiere? give it a chance, and if it doesn’t live up to your expectations, move to greener pastures.

I’m not one to kinkshame people, but how the hell has this become one of the most active and long-running roleplaying threads on the site? For over a year now, two users (one of which is a Background Pony) have been spamming the B key on their keyboards and making fart noises in an attempt to simulate underwater sex with Equestria Girls characters. It’s gone on for nearly 3,000 posts, and yet despite doing it openly where everyone can see them, they’ve been completely alone. I honestly find it more bizarre than cringeworthy, but I figured it was worth posting here.

Nope. Nope. I’ve been burned too much. Teen Titans Go, Powerpuff Girls, and Ben 10. I gave all three of these reboots a chance, and they were GARBAGE. I’m not falling for it again.
