So here’s an interesting fact according to SV’s site, apparently Skeledirge becomes a ghost type because because the little fire bird that hangs with it inhabits a soul when Crocalor evolves so the ghost type belongs to the birdie.
Now the idea of Skeledirge having a bird companion I thought was already clever since it’s related to how crocodiles and some birds share a symbiotic relationship
But I think not only does giving it a ghost type work, but it also shows that the method in which Pokemon become ghosts doesn’t always automatically mean death.
