I feel that the D/P remakes will be the deciding point for a lot of fans on whether these games will be the “last straw” for them.

Especially since recent Nintendo policy could very well force an overhaul of the whole Sinnoh region. Then again, ORAS didn’t seem to have the same restrictions…

No learning abilities after the early game. Look at Luigi’s Mansion 3, and watch Ceave’s video on Paper Mario.

Notice how in Gen 8 you only get one new ability. In Luigi’s Mansion 3 you get no new abilities after Gooigi except an ability usable in exactly three locations that functions more like a switch. Same with Origami King, in fact, that might be why there’s a completely unused “BattleExp” variable in the code, too. And apparently it’s why all the weapons in PMTOK and BotW break and can’t be repaired (and probably why this also applies to Animal Crossing, too). That’s the best I can explain it.

I don’t want D/P remakes and I wish people would shut up about that idea already.

I don’t want more remakes at all, i just want better games.

People will never shut up about wanting D/P remakes, even if we don’t get them this gen, people will still clamor for them next gen

I want remakes, but I can live with them taking a back seat to improving the games overall.

Decided to play some Ultra Sun since I was in the mood. Remember when gen 4 saved the good cut-scenes for legendaries and becoming champ?
