“Make a platform/payment processor.” Which subsequently get fucked over by people on the left or by left leaning companies. Google, paypal, stripe, twitter….the list goes on and on. And YOU don’t care because you want us silenced and eventually dead. THAT is what you care about.

I’ll ask once again. What is your opinion of the power grabs by the GOP in Wisconsin, Missouri, and Florida where they are effectively declaring that the will of the voting public is null?
 
And to head you off at the pass, as I know you’ll attempt to turn it around on me and get me in a catch 22…
 
My opinion on deplatforming is that a company needs a damn good reason to deny services. Violations of the ToS, if real, should be enforced. And, ultimately, the company has the will to do as they please with their user base.
 
That being said, I believe they are applying this principle too liberally. I dislike bowing to the shareholders, and fear it sets a dangerous precedent. Stupidity is best battled in the light, after all. So, while companies have the right to autonomy, and technically deplatforming is something they have the legal right to do, I believe they are overdoing it.
 
Now, would be so kind as to answer my inquiry?

Sounds like a lack of effort to me. If “conservatives” are so numerous and dedicated, they could push through with crypto alone and ignore traditional payment processors. Or, you know, create their own companies and banks and payment processors.

Tracking your statements, tyranny is when power is used to subvert the wills and freedoms of individuals for the purpose of ensuring the power structure benefits. Corporations deplatforming conservatives, for example, by your definition, infringes on their rights to speech. The structure set-forth by the mediums is strengthened, at the expense of individuals.
 
Thusly, elected officials using their powers to strip the decisions made by the voters (early voting reforms, criminal justice reforms, removing powers) infringes upon the citizens rights. The power structure is using its internal mechanisms to oppress the people, by infringing upon their rights, to ensure that said structure benefits at their cost.
 
So again, I ask you, do you believe they are acting in a tyrannical manner?

And Subscribestar did nothing wrong other than trying to become an alternative to Patreon and trying to help out. This also has to do with Silicon Valley knowing they’re on the verge of losing their monopoly on the internet to alt tech and are fighting it as hard as they can.

You know, for the most part, I don’t mind most conservative platforms. I have a lot I disagree with, but it is merely that, disagreement.
 
I also have a few areas I agree with.
 
Where I put my foot down is climate deniers.
 
If you deny that some really bad shit is happening to the planet, you’re an idiot. Moreover, you’re putting humanity at risk.
 
Other platforms, sure I can see the merits in conservative positions, even if I do not hold them myself. I.e. I can see how they could work, and who would benefit, I merely prefer my sides positions.
 
But the climate. Our species health, safety, and continued existence is paramount. I do not want my children to inherit a dying world.

You can now add Florida to the list of Reps subverting democracy.
 
One of the policies during the Florida mid-terms was to restore the voting rights of ex-felons, which passed with like 65% approval. Ron DeSantis is now trying to obfuscate and delay the issue.

Don’t forget the Theocratic People’s Republic of Utah. We recently passed Prop 2 that legalizes medical marijuana, but our state legislature, most likely in cahoots with the Mormon church, passed a “compromise bill,” which basically makes it a worse deal than it could’ve been. In other words organized religion and organized crime took power away from the people. I hate my state.

A federal judge in Texas ruled that Obamacare is unconstitutional after the ‘no insurance penalty’ was removed.

The individual mandate which was part of Obama’s signature law, the “Affordable” Care Act, meant that you either had to purchase health insurance or pay a tax to the government. Now that everyone was forced to buy insurancem insurance companies had no real incentive to make health insurance available at low prices.
