Because they’re putting them in the boys bathrooms. At first they thought it was a photoshop job, but the school confirmed it’s happening.
And then they make a good point. Next year we’re going to see the use of AI generated photos, audio, and even videos to slander or discredit politicians, and it’s getting to where it’s impossible to tell the difference. And if something is real, the politician it happened with can claim it was AI generated.

This is historically what happens.
Voters are smart enough to recognize that it’s the Republicans who force government shutdowns et al, but then Fox New and other reich wing media work overtime tricking them into believing the effects of a shutdown or such is because of Democrats.

Apparently the Russian Legion (anti-Putin Russians fighting on the side of Ukraine) has crossed the border and is taking over parts of the Russian Belgorod region. They say that they want to liberate the region and create a People’s Republic of Belgorod.
The scale of the attack is small, but it forces Russia to react in panic mode and shift forces from elsewhere, lest the scale increase.
Apparently they managed to capture a very modern and valuable Russian electronic warfare system and some other very valuable, but unspecified thing.

Russia has updated their list of Americans sanctioned list. It’s basically just anyone who ever said anything bad about their most loyal asset (no, not Tucker Carlson. The other Putin lover).
Some are expected if rather pitiful on Russia’s end, like sanctioning comedians who at some point made fun of Russia like Jimmy Kimmel or Stephen Colbert. Some are surprising, but also rather telling like Letitia James or Michael Byrd.
For a reminder, AFAIK James and Byrd has made no public statement about Russia. James is just the NY AG who is prosecuting Trump right now, and Michael Byrd is the policeman who shot Y’all Qaeda member Ashli Babbitt while she was crawling through a broken door window, possibly while groaning “braaaaaains”.

Last year, DeSantis instigated a new program that would incentivize anti-vax police officers to move to Florida. Well, it worked, but in a not-that-coincidental reveal it turns out that the a disproportionate number of those officers were criminals and murderers themselves.
They include a former trainee deputy with the Escambia county sheriff’s office charged with murdering her husband; an officer with the Miramar police department fired for domestic battery and kidnapping; and a former member of the New York police department (NYPD) who was hired by the Palm Beach police department having once been accused of an improper sexual proposition.That officer, named by the Daily Dot as Daniel Meblin, was also part of a $160,000 settlement by the NYPD for violence at a 2020 protest against the deaths of Breonna Taylor and George Floyd in which officers were accused of beating Black males without provocation.

Likewise, Fox News ran a story about how homeless vets being kicked out of hotels to make room for undocumented immigrants. When that story turned out to be a verified hoax, Fox News meekly offered a correction, something they are very reticent to do. No doubt with memories of Dominion fresh on their minds, they made sure it was Laura Ingraham to report the correction, probably because they didn’t want Hannity to cut to a car crash the last time they used him to air a correction (true story).

Anyone remember the shooting of Christian Glass? The amateur rockhound whose car became stuck on a dirt road in Colorado, and police escalated the situation until they found a reason to murder him?
His parents have been awarded a $19 million dollar settlement, and the local police departments will now be required to hire and train dedicated crisis response teams. They’re also creating virtual scenarios based off the incident to train in deescalation, and the departments will now train their officers to intervene if they see other police performing illegal actions (wishful thinking.
The officer that fired the shots, and the CO that gave the orders to breach the car are both under indictment. A grand jury earlier this year found they were grossly negligent and needlessly escalated the situation, with both the jury and the presiding judge refusing to dismiss charges against them.
