To be fair, the average AT mine is designed to trigger from the weight of an armored vehicle and won’t even blink if a human steps on it. It’s the anti-personnel mines and boobytraps engineers sometimes lay to disrupt minesweeping efforts that pose the danger to a guy on foot.

So there’s a 40-Mile Russian Convoy heading towards Kyiv, should we all be concern, or just another embarrassing failure waiting to happen?

I’d say I hoped for the opposite - scenes of them gladly relinquishing them en masse - but really, even in the best-case ending I’m not sure that a recall would actually be a good idea. Russia will still be right there, after all.

That depends.

A lines a line, but it still takes logistics to turn that line into a cohesive attack. Regardless of numbers.

If they get bogged down that 40mile long line of armor becomes little more than a shooting gallery. If they manage to encircle the city, I doubt Kyiv will be able to hold out for very long.

Given what we’ve heard from the ones who lived, it’s hard to call that good news, but I can understand if Ukraine is darn proud of it.
