Why do people assume Lily has no experience with the things she talks about??? First it’s she doesn’t have autism, now it’s she’s never experienced medical abuse? Like, dismantle the argument. Even if she wasn’t autistic, her argument doesn’t change! What’s next? She’s not LGBT? (Also, from someone who’s seen and experienced police brutality, no one is going to shoot a suicidal person. At most they’d be committed)

They’re fucking crybabies. The people who flip their goddamn shit because someone things Sheldon does more good than harm aren’t really all that concerned with Autism advocacy. If they were, they wouldn’t be throwing all their toys out of the pram over Sheldon.

Sheldon just isn’t a point of contention among larger activism groups. They don’t care about him because he’s benign. He’s neither positive nor negative. He’s useful for communicating aspects of Autism to parents and teenagers and that’s about it. The people who claim I’ve said Sheldon is “amazing autism representation” are lying through their teeth because “great representation” is not part of my critical vocabulary.

They have to claim I know nothing about Autism to bring things down to their level. They can only argue with their own persecution complex and they NEED to characterize everything as “A neurotypical person talking down to them.” They don’t know how to argue anything else because their own expertise doesn’t go beyond some Youtube rants about the Big Bang Theory and a half-drunk rant from Mr Enter about Autism Speaks.

That’s why they’re constantly erasing my actual experiences because the conclusions I drew from those experiences doesn’t line up with their own and they can’t handle that because they need to believe they speak for everything.

Some people asked “Why didn’t you mention being autistic in your Sheldon video?” The answer to that question was that it was in the script, but it was among the many things that got cut because the script was too long. I cut it because my experience as a counselor granted me more insight about Autism than simply being autistic. So I went with the fact that I was a counselor for two years. I was diagnosed with Autism at 8 and knew absolutely nothing about it until 11 years later and I started reading about it because that’s how expertise works

I lampshaded that in the Sheldon video: “People who’s sole, dubious claim to expertise regarding Autism is the biologically unimpressive achievement of having it.”

I experienced medical abuse from the IWK. Did I conclude that all therapy was abusive? No. I concluded that the IWK just didn’t give a shit about the mental health of kids and spent the next few years making things better by volunteering at an organization I wished I’d had access to when I was a kid. Actually doing something.

This is little more than bitchy Tumblr Tots who didn’t want to put in any effort. They have one bad experience and give up. I learned a long time ago that attitude wasn’t going to help me or anybody else and I thoroughly discourage it. Unfortunately they get a megaphone because well adjusted autistic people have better things to do than sit on social media bitching about Sheldon all fucking day.

But the feelings of a grown-ass adult shouldn’t be anybody’s concern. They’re big enough to handle their own shit. I prioritize educating children and their parents so those children grow up as smoothly and hassle-free as possible.

And in that respect, Sheldon is more useful than whatever Netflix drama, Neurotypical cartoon character you can project onto or Overwatch Trivia will ever be.

The fact that these people need to speculate on my life instead of asking (and then denying the things I say regardless) is evident how much they’re projecting and making excuses for their ego. This “CriticalAlexandrite” who’s been crying about me for days never once contacted me about any of this. They just got third-party accounts from two people and started going off.

Shows how little they give a shit about anything but their own persecution complex.

I was rewatching one of your videos and you said that you’d rather live in a safe but strict dictatorship than have freedom but be unsafe. I was wondering if their was a limit to this? You couldn’t live in Nazi Germany because you’d be killed, but what if you were a part of the master race? If it was 100% safe, would you stay? Would you be willing to be a slave if you were treated relatively well and were safe? Would you be willing to be a farm slave but not a sex slave or a slave in a mine?

You’re not understanding the thought experiment. It’s “What do you prioritize more? Freedom or Safety?” Nazi Germany had neither of those, so it’s not part of the conversation.

Would you rather live in Totalitarianism or Anarchism? My answer is Totalitarianism. Why?

That’s what a thought experiment is for, because having to choose between the two and think about them reveals a really important reality: Freedom cannot exist without Safety. A world with “ultimate freedom” is a world where others can freely kill you for whatever reason. Any government, regardless of how hands off it claims to be, restricts your freedom in order to ensure that you have it. When the government disallows you from doing something to someone else, they’re also disallowing that someone else from doing it to you.

Oppression and Tyranny are not exclusive to government forces, and we need protection from the oppression of the Corporation and the oppression of the Masses just as much as we need protection from the oppression of the State.

Many people foolishly believe that tyranny can only come from the state, and that isn’t true. And just because you’ve thrown off the government doesn’t mean that a corporation, a gang, or a church won’t immediately start stepping on you in their place. And not in the fun way.

But Peet is not merely talking about Clopfics, he is talking about “Pornographic fanfics featuring children”. Yes these are IN the category of clopfic, but are a SUBCATEGORY called foalcon fics.

In so far as the clips you show of Peets video, you do not show a segment where Peet claims these people are pedophiles, all he states is that they are doing something illegal and that they are posting fanfictions that feature children. When you then claim that Peet is saying these people are pedophiles, you appear to be strawmanning because nowhere did you provide a clip where Peet says these people are pedophiles. Now maybe he does in the actual video, I’m not sure, but you did not include this, at least where I left off which is 7 minutes in.

Even if I grant you that Peet is calling them pedophiles, you further strawman by stating that Peet claims all people who read clopfics in a youtube video are pedos. Peet only stated that people reading fanfictions featuring children are doing something illegal and that they are aware of the illegality of their actions. He does not state through any deduction you might derive from his statements that they are pedophiles.

I also went through this googledrive Peet clop collection, there’s no foalcon in here, it’s all pics of like Celestia, Luna, the Mane Six, and Trixie, not a single kid MLP character to be found. This is not foalcon, this is regular clop and in no way shows that Peet likes childhood MLP porn. Your claim that Peet thinks people who consume regular clop are pedos is a complete misinterpretation. Due to this, you have deducted that Peet himself is a pedo because of his clop. This deduction is false because you misinterpreted Peets initial claim.

I didn’t finish your video, so maybe you bring this up later, but why not use Peets OWN foalcon fics as a demonstration that Peet might hold this sort of preference? That to me seems way more substantial.

Dunno if it matters much, but I remember in an older video where Lily mentions that most of her followers are more keen towards her ‘In a Minute’ videos than the ‘Glass of Water’ ones. I find this rather funny, considering I tend to come back to her channel repeatedly to watch and enjoy them; not only do I find them engaging and educating, but quite enjoyable in the dry wit and direct humor. When ‘detractors’ speak of them being humorless, I can only laugh at how heavy their blinders must be…

Actually that status quo has reversed in revent months. In A Minute now gets less and less viewers and Glass of Water tends to stand out as the more popular series.

I’ve actually decided that if the Disney Project doesn’t do better than In A Minute currently is, then I’m just going to end In A Minute as a series and put that time into more big videos and Glass of Water videos.
