You know, upon thinking about it, the next time I meet a Sony fanboy I could take inspiration from Discord to stand against him, like when he teased Tirek in the series finale by playing him with his backstory.

Ok so I don’t know a thing about Death Stranding, it’s not on my to-do list for games that I want, but I don’t know why it’s controversial? What makes it a bad game?

I’m not against Death Stranding per say, even thought it’s a niche game that is not for me. What I hate is how it is gonna be treated as an instrument to insult people online if it wins the Game Awards (which is likely as by what Jarkes said, the judges of the VGA are biased over Kojima…) like all of the Sony exclusives with high ratings. Actually, the game has not really high ratings on Metacritic, only 82-83 from critics and 54 from users, but being the only Sony exclusive of 2019 that is worth a darn thing (and again: it’s only a timed exclusive, as next year will come to Steam) if it wins the Awards, considering how much competition it has in the various categories, especially Nintendo, Sony fanboys will go rampage if it wins, and they will deliberately attack Nintendo’s games and their fans with no remorse. Because a just good niche game like Death Stranding winning against all of those colossal Nintendo games, would be the exact equivalent of a wolf beating down 6 bears all alone. That’s what I’m worried about, and I’m also worried that those guys could go over than just insulting people online….

So it’s only negative aspect is that it’s political. Not real world politics, just video game political, like brand loyalty and etc.

Judging by most major gaming circles I check on, Smash is actually looking like the favorite(personally I want Resi 2 Remake to win, and I’m huge Smash fan)

Actually… as I said it is quite of a niche game, it’s not for everyone considering its style. Basically it’s a walking simulator in which you have to be careful if you want to get to the destination alive. It has a good story, but the gameplay is love or hate. It’s even nicher than Metal Gear Solid.

You’re forgetting one thing: the votes of the crowd will matter only for the 10%. The ACTUAL judges might be biased over Kojima, especially considering what he did in the game, according always to what Jarkes said the other day.
 
And besides yes, maybe Resident Evil 2 winning would be for the best anyway.

The only thing that I have interest is the little bit regarding its science fiction based story otherwise it hasn’t really hit on my radar of interesting games.

I hope Outer Worlds wins Best Role Playing game.

I think I need to get a list of video game villains that seriously challenges the protagonist on a philosophical level. Kreia is the only one I can think of.

Huzzah! I have now beaten Ace Combat 7 using only the machine gun! Holy crap that was the ultimate “hard, but fair” thing I’ve ever done in a video game, that was intense. Now, I get to go ace hunting for all the special skins.

More so that you wouldn’t know if you yourself are a synth, using how RPGs using how RPGs limit the player character’s past and life to better fit the role-playing part against you. Honestly, I love the idea that you’re a Synth, the prototype of the final form of synths, and journeying through the wasteland is your field test, taking up the memories of Father’s long dead parent, and to hand you a synth version of the childhood he never had.

Said it straight thought: strumentalizing videogames to insult people online is despicable, other than immature. I really can’t believe there are people like that. I really hope this way to behave of people won’t bring into major bloodsheds….

Sir I think I fully agree with you on that statement, being a synth that doesn’t know they are a synth with false memories of someone else’s life makes for a better story than the game presents for you.

Tried to play an Xbox again only to rage on how much I hate it. I’m sticking with the original Xbox and playing nothing but PlayStation, I can’t stand that One bullshit!
