I kinda liked this one, probably because Lola was playable.

Though, kinda funny she dresses more conservatively on the box. In the game she wears her usual sexy short shorts, and midriff tank-top. lol

Reminds me of the Nintendo Gigaleak a few years ago.
Nintendo and the Pokemon Company really don’t have much security. (Good thing I don’t save my credit card info on the Nintendo eShop, or Steam.)

Time to get spooky
Something I enjoy about D&D-like CRPGs is how playing wizards makes getting spell scrolls a mini-game to see what you can learn outside of level ups.

I just watched Moist’s video on it. Billy’s team is grasping at straws to make it look like Moist respects Billy.

From what I can tell, it just sounds like they wanted to(though Underworld initially fell below sales)

Crystal Dynamics began development of Tomb Raider soon after the release of Tomb Raider: Underworld in 2008. Rather than a sequel, the team decided to reboot the series, re-establishing the origins of Lara Croft for the second time, as they did with Tomb Raider: Legend.

They were pretty Well received afaik, as far as review scores go they ranged from 75%-80%, so around the series average at that time

The first time yes. Legends, Anniversary and Underworld followed it until they rebooted again with the 2012 game

How would you…define REMNANT 2…
REMNANT 1 was a breath of fresh air in the souls-genre but REMNANT 2 is just better in pretty much every way. After having played some hours in it I start thinking that maybe REMNANT 2 shouldn’t even be considered souls-clone.
You could call it Souls-LITE actually. REMNANT 2 is…let me break it down for you.
A third person shooter with melee combat element, with a modular level design meant for multiple runs, a persistent main hub that keeps your progress and loot, a souls-like bonfire mechanic and puzzle-like boss fights, lore and story told through item descriptions, etc.
The gampelay loop is similar to extraction looter shooter, but the loot isn’t random. If you happen to be on a certain tileset, complete certain requirements or found the right corner where the loot is hidden, then you’ll be rewarded with that exact loot.
Combat-wise, it feels more Resident Evil Dead Space than Dark Souls. The emphasis is on efficient and effective shots placements than well-timed parries and swings. Melee IS present in REMNANT2, but it’s more “switching to melee is faster than reloading” type situation. Melee is too simple to be compared with the rest of the Souls-clones.
Builds…You do create builds but nothing too deep that allows you crazy idiosyncratic niche OP builds. Character builds are more like min-maxing your preferred playstyle / archetype.
The setting…is…Look. Imagine the late 90s early 2000s. It then went into post-apocalypse following the invasion from a threat from another dimension, and you the player gets to walk through different dimensions, meaning you get to see environment of wildly different genres.
Where would you put REMNANT 2 in the shelves?

I’m surprised they’re actually remastering Angel of Darkness. That game had such a poor launch that it pretty much killed off Core Design as a whole.

Kinda makes you wonder if they’ll take the opportunity to fix anything (kinda doubt it, but it would be nice).

If you do not specify a field to search over, the search engine will search for posts with a body that is similar to the query's word stems. For example, posts containing the words winged humanization
, wings
, and spread wings
would all be found by a search for wing
, but sewing
would not be.
