Pegasus hasn’t been formally introduced, but we also have an earth pony guy who might also be a guard.

Yes, we’ll have a pegasus named Pipp and a currently unnamed male Earth Pony. Some leaks suggest we may have another pegasus named Zipp and two more male ponies, but it’s not confirmed yet!

So it’s like the whole show will be running generally as 3D right? and if so, I wonder how would vector artists would be able to vectorize these guys.

Well, computer-animated is an ambiguous term, so we can’t confirm yet if the series will be 3D as well. And fans can always use promotional images as basis for their vectors!

Yes. I think only G1 and maybe early G3 were traditionally animated.

Thing is, it’s likely they’ll use Toon Boom Harmony for the series animation.
