Never. Maybe never, anyway. Spike doesn’t seeem concerned about that at all and I’ve always seen Twilight as his mom/guardian.
 
Besides, would Spike’s parents even know he’s theirs without having seen him? I don’t think Celestia would steal an egg either, so it had to be abandoned anyway.

I can’t wait until a future episode reveals the parents are alive and then we get a happy reunion episode.

I’ll admit, there’s JUST barely enough wiggle room so that they could possibly pull a “they were missing and presumed dead for years, but it turns out they were alive all along” twist later.

I mainly want to know about Starlight’s parents…

Yeah but we don’t know so the possibilities are endless. I mean if they wanted to they could go with a Moses/Superman origin, that his parents were forced to abandon him and that he is the Quizat Haderach. Or yeah he was just given up. So much to do. Also they would then finally be able to establish what kind of relationship Spike actually has with Twilight

Maybe. I mean Pinkie doesn’t live out in the country like her coreverse counterpart.
 
It would add some interesting storylines if they were alive and coreverse Applejack caught wind of it, AU doppelgangers are always fun, most of the time…

Peach Butter is definitely very endearing and adorable.  

 
Also, this maybe something to put in the unpopular opinion thread despite or perhaps because of how much I enjoyed The Perfect Pear I would rather them to have died. Much stronger emotional impact, especially in the Apple siblings going to their parents old friends to learn more about their parents and even their grandparents.

Now we know why Big Mac loves Sugar Belle. Ain’t that hard to have a side by side comparison of Sugar Belle and Pear Butter. Similar traits, especially the mane.

Pear Butter’s guitar playing was LEGENDARY! Beautiful voice too.

I feel bad for the MF who has to write the next Applejack story. Hell I even feel bad for the writer of the next episode. I mean fuck Perfect Pear is going to be hard to top, it almost feels like it’s part of a different show.

Don’t worry, with the swarm of mediocre AJ episodes we got before this one, even an episode this amazing likely wasn’t enough to make the average quality of those recover past “As long as AJ doesn’t act like an ignorant redneck… again”.
