Big Mac has always had speeches at pointed moments.

So, you don’t like our idea. I would tend to agree, but I think a humorous “Ponk doesn’t know how shyness works” episode would be good, even though this is the fifth(?) time around. It’d be funny, since she’d be behaving in the exact opposite way she did in “The Maud Couple”.

I think a valuable lesson is sacrificed by doing that. We don’t want the message to be that it’s okay to pressure people on personal matters like that, so she ends up single to preserve the point.

She is adorable. She is the “shy character” done right (unlike certain other character).  
She had a potential that was wasted because Sugar Belle was brought back, who is as bland as it’s possible.

He started speaking up alot more in his episodes. Everytime he does, it sounds like his voice actor is chokeing to death. Big Mac was made to be a silent character, and his “character development” isn’t very fitting in last 2 seasons. This is why he would fit better in relationship with Marble. They could be a silent couple. He wouldn’t have to speak soo much as he does with Sugar Belle

In his first major appearance he spoke pretty normally. He was then rewritten to speak infrequently, but even then he’s had speeches like in Brotherhooves Social or Ponyville Confidential or Where the Apple Lies.

Ya, he’s good at speaches, but not at speaking. It was a nice idea that they had in Heartbreakers (now that episode gets another meaning after Best Gift Ever) that Big Mac and Marble were “speaking” using only “Mhm” and “Eeyp”. If not for “Hard to say anything”, they could run with this idea of a couple who understands eachother prefectly without useing “words”.

That “Pinkie hooking her up with her friends” could be fun if Pinkie just assumes they are all bi or lesbian to begin with, and then not a single confirmation as to the mane6’s sexualities is given and we all get to guess how the scenes we witnessed have to be interpreted, hehe.

What potential? She was just a personification of an anime meme. Not any more. No less. She had as much personality as a stone I could throw. You overinterpret (once again) everything and do not accept that she had no potential. Because she was just conceived as a joke. Of course, 50% of the fandom goes to A! and Oh!, but she HAS no personality. And that’s why we forgot. Compared to Sweetie Belle.

She has personality about her sister, of course. That’s why we love Pinkie Pie. But Big Mac… He has other interests. ;-)

Marble HAS personality. She is Shy and a bit of a coward, but she loves her sisters. No matter if she has just suffered a heartbreak, she will put it aside and help Pinkie find the perfect gift. She will aid Pinkie if latter is troubled by something. She is shown to understand other shy individuals (big mac) and warms up to them quickly. Unlike Fluttershy (who still is jumping between being Flutterbitch and a dormat), Marble feels geniuenly shy. She has her “safety bubble” which would be a rockfarm and her sisters, and once something bursts the bubble, Marble is kinda hopeless. She was an interesting match for Big Mac, who is shy, but also brave. He, too, cares about his family and is ready to do everything for them (even work when he is injured). They have alot in common, and thier relationship would be much more interesting than akward Big Mac and bland Sugar Belle.

same. I don’t think i’m interested in any other episodes of this season. not anymore. after watching Starlight’s final, then I’m good to go.

Okay, guys. Prediction I JUST came up with.
 
What if Celestia and/or the Mane 6 end up banishing Grogar to the Moon in the finale?
 
The show ends the same way it begins, but opposite. A long forgotten villain being in the moon.  
I bet there’s a TVtrope for that.

If they will want to make a callback to season 1, I think it’s more likely that we would get a closing book at the end. Frankly, something that I really want to see this season, is a reference to Fallout Equestria.

Well, that sort of thing isn’t “DEFCON 1” levels, is it?
 
“DEFCON 1” here would be “they got hacked into and had entire incomplete episodes stolen months prior.”
 
(For those that are unaware, DEFCON 5 is the lowest level of readiness, so saying “DEFCON 6” for dramatic effect is actually severely counterproductive.
 
Wouldn’t surprise me if everyone knew that however.)
