I don’t think Reddit pay more attention towards her political views or her view on the show and such, compared to here or 4chan.
 
Plus I think most of the questions are just going to be asking her about what it was like voicing so many characters in games and cartoons and such, then compared to what others would ask.
 
Plus I’m pretty sure that with AMA’s, troll comments are either ignored, or heavily downvoted.
 
And even if it is bad, it probably won’t be the worst AMA ever had.

Exactly that too. It’s not like a 4Chan thread or anything of that sort. It’s also not her first AMA there either so it should go fairly similar to her other times.

I would want to ask her if there was any particular character she didn’t like voicing or that she found challenging to voice. Since she has voiced numerous different characters vastly varying personalities and voice styles in the past with such brilliance.

Yeah some of the voices she’s done in the past are pretty difficult, particularly the higher pitched ones. Speaking from experience. When I was a child, I liked imitating a lot of her characters with my own voice and Angel and Bubbles’ voices are pretty hard.

Not a lot of VAs can pull off the vast amount of characters types she does. It’s almost like she can do everyone’s voice, save for maybe adult male voices of course.

Pretty much. She has a very wide range.
 
My voice is fairly deep for a female so doing young boy voices isn’t too hard for me either but some of those can leave my throat feeling rather scratchy too after a while. It’s a different feeling from the kind of strain that a really high pitched voice does but it still hurts a bit. So I really do have a ton of respect for Tara and all those wide variety of voices she can do.

Yeah, looking back, I will concede that some of the wordings I’ve used there was cringey and over the top. God knew what the hell went through my mind at that time. Considering we are living in mentally chaotic times. It’s just that fucking word and media’s universal obsession with it these days.  
I will stand by the fact that PC culture has gotten out of control. I wish to see this progressive insanity end someday as much as anyone else.  
And I’m still quite skeptical of whether G5 would ever be anywhere as successful and impacting as G4 is right now.

I may not care for Lily or her content but I’m gonna have to agree with her here and think a lot of the G5 panic is super overblown and I think it’s really annoying (and disgusting) that people are super anal about G5 Applejack being possibly voiced by a black woman.

I think people are more pissed that AJ is looking to be the only Pony who will have her identity right down to her appearance completely altered. I dunno though how altered the others will be, but I expect some significant deviation from their G4 counterparts.
 
Also, I personally probably would have rather them feature a fresh cast of Ponies instead of reusing the same names from the Mane 6. I mean, I’m sure Hasbro has numerous unused or underused names from their past generations right?
 
Considering all the shit that has happened in regards to this diversity pushing that seems to be forcibly shoved all over the place these days, and the media’s unhealthy over obsession with “representation” these days instead of writing good stories and staying faithful to the source materials. It all reeks of affirmative action. So it’s not surprising that people have become increasingly suspicious whenever “diversity” gets mentioned.

Did-did you read some of the comments there? While I’m sure it’s true some people are worried about the change, some of them are clearly taking it too far.
 
And yes, while Hasbro does have a lot of unused ponies, them reusing the Mane 6 again is just something that works. Look at a majority of the Transformers cartoons (and the movies) Hasbro has made. Most of them have Optimus Prime, Megatron, and Starscream in the cast (with a lot of reoccuring characters like Bumblebee, Soundwave, Ratchet, and Arcee). There’s hundreds of Transformers characters but those seem to be the ones they keep using. Wanna know why? Because:

It was when I found out that the person who is supposedly going to be her VA being one of the big figures of the #Timesup movement, that was where I lost my shit. And knowing the pattern of where things in media are going these days, it’s natural I expect the same crap we’ve been dealing with in today’s toxic political climate.
 
Now the reason why I stopped with this subject here is because we were getting into the spoilery subject of G5, which I didn’t think was appropriate for this particular thread when one of my buddies here was PMing me asking me what this “G5” thing is we were talking about.
