I consider the kind of people who find Sheldon offensive, vs the ones who are inspired by Sheldon. I saw kids and teenagers learn about their issues and struggles by watching Sheldon, and get a better understanding of themselves through him and their parents gain a better understanding of their children as well. These were people who needed help and they got it.

The people most offended by Sheldon are well-adjusted adults who already have their shit together.

It’s telling of their priorities. I talk about abuse in the fandom, and these people immediately set out to try and discredit me in the hopes that nobody will listen to me. Several of these people have had a grudge against me for a long time and have been trying to destroy my career for a while.

Unsuccessfully, might I add.

As for what I did to make them so angry? I’m a leftist. That’s really it, honestly. You can see this in the way they scream about how much of an “SJW” I am. They’re neo-nazis and they’re extremely angry that I keep blowing the lid on the Brony community’s bullshit.

I think what we’re seeing is opportunism. They’ve been trying to make the claim that I’m abusive for a long time, ever since Josh tried to accuse me of being emotionally abusive after calling him on his racist bullshit. Unfortunately, the avalanche of testimonials from people about how much of an angel I’ve been over the last month, along with Lizzy flat out Jossing the accusations that involve her, most people know better than to take it at face value.

As Lizzy put it: If people had reason to believe that I was abusive, she would be the first person they contact. But they talk over her when she josses their bullshit and start trying to gaslight her. Or refusing to acknowledge that my wife would obviously know me better than some random people on the internet, or someone who hasn’t been in my life for four years.

Of course, it’s obvious to anybody that they’re just making shit up. Segasister especially has this delusional obsession with making up a fantasy version of my marriage to Lizzy where Lizzy never disagrees with me and thinks I can do no wrong. Segasister is a crazy moron who doesn’t realize how many people are actively laughing at her for her obvious psychological projection and paranoia. But she’s just the tip of the iceberg of crank magnetism.

A lot of people DID believe Josh when he accused me of being abusive, but his actions during the election and during this ToonKritic scandal have made most of them realize how much of a lying bastard he really was. Even at the time many of the more savvy people were rightfully suspicious when his “sources” for all the horrible things I’d done were neo-nazi hate sites. And now we’re seeing a “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me” situation happening.

These are people who have been holding a vicious grudge against me for… nothing. They’re just angry that I dare exist and not make myself easy for them to ignore. I tell them that they’re wrong, and they can’t handle that.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. These people don’t actually care about abuse; they just care about discrediting Lily and trying to ruin her life and her career. SEGA Sister in particular pretended to be sympathetic towards me in the vein of “I hope you divorce Lily you deserve better,” then accused me of being a deluded case of Stockholm Syndrome, and has since decried me as silencing those Lily has been accused of abusing.

All because I very clearly and repeatedly told her she was wrong.

These people seem to carry the attitude that in my mind, Lily can do no wrong. If they actually knew as much about our relationship as they claim, they would know how important being honest and open is between us. Lily actually encourages me to tell her when something she’s doing bothers me or if I disagree with something she’s said or done, and it’s something that’s improved my relationship with others since.

But of course, I - as the currently closest person to Lily at present and who some of these people have actually interacted with - couldn’t possibly be trusted more than the people who Lily hasn’t had any interaction with for years who these accusers have pulled out of the aether to satiate their confirmation biases.

Because I’m the deluded one here.

main reason people don’t like Peet is mostly because of the fact she has a very toxic attitude and the fact she treats all opinions as if they have to be political. Most are former fans who are shocked to see how far she fell and how fast she fell. Peet is also good at making her white knights believe every word she says
