Oof that’s pretty lucky. You could be lost a serious amount of property with that. I talked to an ex-firefighter at my job one time and he told me that one of the worst fires he ever felt with was caused by a pizza (or some other baked good I don’t remember) lighting on fire in a stove and then the stove catching on fire.
 
It was in a mansion or something where there were more than one stove and the one was so hot it caused a chain reaction that made the other ones burst into flames. Pretty much burnt the entire place down. No casualties thankfully.

We all do stupid mistakes sometimes when life is busy…. I did this once for like 4 or more hours and I can confirm it looks like this.
 
You would obviously smell it burning before it gets to that point, but I was an absolute derp and was outside doing something and forgot. I’m glad this was the only thing I suffered.

Pretty sure it’s spray painted.

I bet this makes for a great coaster to put something hot on. After all, I don’t think it can still burn.
