Yeah. Because like Tirek, the Storm King’s only weakness is the Magic of the four alicorn princesses of Equestria. Similar to how in the Transformers movie, Unicron’s only weakness is the Autobot Matrix of Leadership and in the G.I. Joe movie, Golobulus’ only weakness is the B.E.T. (The Broadcast Energy Transmitter).
Well, I would compare the Storm King to Plankton both villains have conquered the main setting of a cartoon in a feature length film based on the cartoon and turn all of the inhabitants into slaves and the skies have gone dark. And since the Mane Six escaped from the clutches of the Storm King, things have gotten a lot worse in Equestria. Or should I say, “Stormtopolis”?
I do wonder what the dragons and other non-pony races were thinking while this was going on: “Great, Celly or Luna just went off her rocker again.”
So many seizures, and tidal waves

Yes
Bob’s Burgers?
Tempest: this is what god must feel like
My best guess is that it was hereditary. He was the last king of the Storm Kingdom; Princess Celestia and Queen Novo were discussing its likely fate, among other questions, in the credits. (My money’s on the hippogriffs annexing them; Equestria has enough trouble securing its borders already, without adding more territories overseas.)
Explanation would also work for the clouds, small and closer
I would assume this was the explanation that worked the best with how things are presented in the show (although I’m not sure why the Moon can’t still be a rock). To me, the obvious answer was always that Equestria is in a geocentric system like people believed our own was for much of antiquity, and that the Sun and Moon are simply a relatively small ball of flame and spherical rock that move around it and are controlled by powerful beings on the surface.
When you consider every other time that the motion of the celestial bodies has been brought up in the show (like the time in “Princess Twilight Sparkle” when the Sun and Moon were frozen still side by side and the sky was divided down the middle between day and night) that’s really the explanation that makes the most sense and requires the least baseless assumptions in order to work.
To be entirely honest, I’ve never been sure why so many fans try to wrangle Equestria’s setting into being a heliocentric system. That kind of setting just doesn’t fit with everything else we’ve seen of and been told of it.
someone already beat you to the life-death-life reference
or…………it’s possible cuz magic
Actually, the sun and moon would literally be torn apart from their own inertia if someone did this; they’re heavy-ass heavenly objects. So I guess #1 is ruled out. Perhaps they are just illusions, after all.

@Claw
Ohhhhh. Okay. Thanks.
If I am not wrong , Fighterpilot555 just say what Storm King is saying during this scene - aka My Little Pony reference
Storm King gets alicorn magic…and turns into a hyperactive spazz. xDDD
