Oh, there might very well be some twisted reading of copyright law that they have to abide. It may stupid but it might be very real, just the same.
I asked one of the employees on my third day. She said they can’t give them to me because of copyright reasons (how incredibly stupid that is, does copyright get used as excuse for everything these days?) and said that, sometimes, those promotional cardboards go back to the company that owns them.
The latter is just nonsense. These cardboards were specifically made to promote the movie, with german text no less so they are even only relevant for german promotions, not international ones. And the movie is only in cinema one time and even if there should be another My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Movie one day, Hasbro is obviously letting new cardboards getting made.
No one has any need for those cardboards anymore once the movie is out of cinema. As I said, a pure excuse.
They are just going to throw them away and they only say they are not allowed to give them out because they don’t wanna share them.

I take it they won’t simply give them to the first person to ask? A shame. I wonder if someone who works there wanted it. I hope so.

You’re not the only one. They are probably just going to throw them away once they remove them, so I tried to find out where they put their trash, to pull them out again.
I discovered they carry out the trash through the emergency exits at one side of the cinema and circled around the whole building, which is huge, but couldn’t find the place…..
All I know is that I want that cardboard.
ahh you mean that XD i wish that those who hate will have a bad day because they see these. I mean how pointless can one be annoyed?
I don’t know. I never understood it, myself. Some people freak the hell out when they see a pony, though.
