DJTHED makes one of the 3D animations I ever saw in my whole life, amazing work after amazing work! You rock, man, keep it up, and my congratulations! ^^

The show shouldn’t transition to 3D. It’d be cool to see a movie in 3D for these characters, but a TV show with a TV budget usually doesn’t have great CG. It would be expensive to render full animated scenes the way I would do it. If anything they should try using transitioning to Toonboom someday, maybe for Gen 5. But not 3D for the TV show.

This is the 36th highest scoring image on derpi now. O.o Can’t say I was expecting that. Thanks to whomever decided to feature this image! It has actually helped reach one of my goals on Patreon I wasn’t expecting to get anytime soon due to the exposure.

I’m honored that you guys think that I’m good enough to help out with 2snacks rigging problems, but I don’t know if I would be that much of a help.
 
For one, he uses a completely different type of software, which is Maya. I’ve only ever used Maya for no more than like 2 hours. While I’ve been using Blender for nearly 8 years. So I’m not sure if all of my advice would even be applicable in Maya.
 
But the other thing is that I’m still learning a lot myself. At the beginning of this year, I practically knew nothing on how to properly model or rig a face, especially one that’s more of a stylized cartoon shape. So I fear that advice that I give would also be kind of bad, because I still feel like some things I’m doing would be considered really bad implementation of rigging or whatever.

Maybe he could even give 2Snacks some tips on how to properly rig 3D models for animation. As fans of his know, he tried about a year ago and gave up because he couldn’t quite figure it out.

Gotta admit. This is a nice showcase of your talent.
