Let’s see. You apparently think I’m some sort of watchdog. No, not really. I’m a person who enjoy reading a fanwork, and providing feedback on said fanwork. Positive feedback, because previously the comic depicted Derpy in a very negative light and this helps explain her behavior a little better. But hey, good on you for trying.

Slightly better. This is less a general hatred and more a specific one, made general by childish misunderstanding that ‘they are all the same’. At least this sort of hatred can be redirected from vampires at large to the specific one that killed their parents.

Unfortunately people generalize with all kinds of groups. Even people that are just a fan of a tv series.
 
“Someone in X fandom did something stupid therefore all fans of that tv series are terrible.”

“People from X category killed my parents, therefore I hate them all” is an incredibly stupid thing to say. If your parents died by tripping on a knot in the grass and hitting their heads against a tree, would you hate grass and trees?

I hope she is doing this for Derpy’s brother, too, or we have a similar thing to what Amore did with Sombra in the official comics.
