Well to be fair, I’ve never agreed with the linguistic convention of referring to that area of the body as the bottom, since it is in fact only halfway down; and the bottom, by definition, should actually be at the bottom.
On the other hand, (or bottom lol xD), it can accurately be referred to as the posterior, since it is on the posterior surface of the body.
Ahh, the joys of the English language. Lol. xD
