as for not wanting to use the pup as a golf ball, she wasn’t thinking clearly. that scene gets taken out of context so much, it should be a felony to do so of anything in EqG.
She was thinking clearly, she just still had a conscience.

conversely, Starlight gave Chrysalis the opportunity to reform. and even though the Queen of the Changelings rejected it, at least the Glim isn’t selective about who she shows empathy and compassion to… and isn’t a hiney about it either.

The difference is that Sunset showed regret, apologized and asked for a second chance.  
The Dazzlings just fled and were never seen again.  
Sunset never got the chance to give them a chance.

I also don’t want the Dazzlings to reform, I want them to remain as antagonists. If they reform every antagonist immediately, then they will eventually run out of antagonists.

poor Dazzlers. they were in the same position Sunset once was… yet, instead of showing them mercy and giving them a chance to redeem themselves, she snubbed them and had everyone else drive them out into the cold, dark world, where they would wither and die. ;⌒;
