A better way of breaking that up that reflects the rhythm of the song is:

Any / trip can be ex- / hausting if you / make a fuss / !

But don’t mind me, I’m just a music nerd. Realistically, if you were writing out the lyrics like that, you wouldn’t break it up as much. More like: “Any trip can be exhausting / if you make a fuss”, or even less as that whole thing is one line, and the break would come between “fuss” and Trixie’s “But”.
