If this is true, that could be good.
“Bao-Li” is a word translated accoroding to the pronuncation of “Pony”. Yeah, the word “pony” is translated twice. it’s a weird way, but somehow popular in animation field of China, espacially offically and the ones for children.
And this book has authorization.
We’ll have to wait and see for her response. Better yet, maybe she should promote that work too!

No, I am afraid that the Chinese publisher of this book in the picture did not ask the original artist for their permission, and it seems that they might had copied it directly from Lindsay Cibos’ work shown by the Smiling Pony’s comment below, for quick profit.

No, this is an actual book on how to draw ponies. It’s actually a solid book, by the same person who did two how to draw furries books. Very good source to learn this stuff.
