This is one of what is now five commissions I’ve made of my OC being various classes in FFXIV. I have contemplated uploading the ones I have so far from various artists, and I think I shall.
Dragoon in particular, in whatever pony Final Fantasy universe exists, would have been pegasi, using the launching part of their flying magic to do the same leaps and jumps of the Dragoons. The wings are part of the Dragoon armor (metal wings like Apocalypse Dash) since I figured that it doesn’t exactly seem too outlandish in a pony centered universe to create armor with such a feature, especially since it can’t give them flight anyway. What the wings do however is they will help glide and steer the jumper to their target for the fatal blow.
But hey, Final Fantasy is weird anyway. I’m quite happy with how this turned out.
