MONTAGE!
A sports training montage!
There’s also plenty of shows in human settings and with human characters that are just as wacky, or even wackier than this.
From all over the world.
You’re saying that a cartoon with a human setting needs to be a bit more believable when you’re making a fuss about several gags that is pretty much flipping commonplace in animation, even in cartoons like these.
And are you really insinuating that people regularly defy the laws of physics, break into musical numbers in a group, and have skin like purple or magenta? Really?
Late reply, but are you implying that none of these things happen in real-life? (Especially the singing?)
I’m just saying that when you make a cartoon/animated movie that features a human setting, it should be at least a little bit believable to the audience. The humans from Bonkers acted more realistic than this.
I’d love to know more about them
Here’s a handy guide, and a suuuuper long discussion thread.
you get them for doing certain things. like there a badge for being an artist, badges for uploading enough high scoring images, and, as said, a duck badge for being a duck.
This is the first I’m noticing badges. I’d love to know more about them.
Because comedy. :/
At what time did this sub-series imply that this is supposed to be the real world? Pinkie still defies the laws of physics, everybody’s prone to sing musical numbers at the drop of a hat, and most importantly, everybody’s skin color comes in technicolor. This world may look like our world, but this is also clearly not our world. Also, this is a cartoon, characters do these kind of stuff all the gosh darn time. Why rule this specific moment as illogical?
I was going to tell you that it’s a cartoon, but then I saw your duck badge and I was like
(suggestive image of real person)
Once again, Hasbro ignores the facts that these movies are supposed to take place in the real world.
Sorry if this comes off as a rant.
Edited because: Above image rating
Having presents inside of them would have been amazing, I suppose, but I recall putting the bricks together myself. (I’ve always loved assembling things)
When I was a wee stabber someone got one of my cousins a bunch of those things for Christmas and had a little fort built out of them around the tree when we all came in to open presents in the morning; four or five of them had actual bricks inside as a joke. Nearly caused my grandmother to do a header into a roaring fireplace when she tried to pick one up with the wrong balance/force ratio.
Aaaa, random nostalgia attack.
Look super similar to the cardboard construction bricks we had as kids.
If you tape’em closed you could probably use them as siege weaponry.
(Or, as ya said, make them the walls themselves.)
Oh man, I haven’t tripped over a Grainger catalog in years– I used to work at a shop where they used them as jackstands when all the other (OSHA-approved) jackstands were in use; fat bastards ain’t even blink at holdin’ up a work truck.
@TexasUberAlles Eh, close enuf.
not angry enough
with more anger she would’ve sculpted that with her bare hands.
Oh hey– she’s so angry you’d literally need a bulldozer to budge her from her position.
Or an sculpture of Bon Bon.
Like so:
Go around with a trash trailer and pick up a few loads of ’em, use ’em to build an igloo or a storage shed or something.
