I honestly prefer Raribelle. They’ve got a little bit of a love-hate relationship thing going, and when it’s redirected in a romantic/sexual direction it gives the pairing both a lot of energy and a surprising potential for tenderness. (That they look good on each other is, admittedly, also a factor.)

Silly me, it’s true: Lyrabon is quite official. Discoshy not so much, but almost there, acknowledged by the animators and actors, only lacking THE ULTIMATE CLUE (hearts and hooves day/heart’s warming eve scene). A season and a half to go to have more proof, but, yes, I consider them, at least, approved.

I have a question: other than Cadence and Shining and throwing EG out of the question, is this the first official shipping between two types of pony in all the series?

That should solve the shipping debate – too bad that episode also needs Big Mac to learn a lesson about being faithful to his partner instead of shifting here and there to another.
