I like Melee, but I kinda tire of some fans acting like it’s the best/only good SSB game.
 
And I still consider SSB a fighting game personally, I don’t understand why it’s “debatable” it isn’t. (Just because it has a different control scheme, or “not violent,” doesn’t exclude it, as every fighting game is different.)  
And frankly, I kinda prefer it’s controls over more complex games, as I find those difficult to play. (Half the time when I try to “SHORYUKEN!” in SF2, I end up somehow “HADOKEN!” instead.)

I don’t think Wobbling is anything other than Melee and rightfully so.
 
The whole “is Smash a fighting game” thing can be argued until the cows come home but we can all agree that Melee is raw b/s.

Wobbling is not in Ultimate, which is good.

Huh, never knew about that, but they probably fixed that in Brawl & Ultimate.

“Wobbling”, named after the Super Smash Bros Melee player who popularized it, Wobbles, is a controversial technique in that game.
 
It involves grabbing someone with one Ice Climber and hitting with the other, and when the opponent breaks free of the grab, the two Ice Climbers immediately switch roles, trapping the opponent in an infinite combo.
 
It’s generally hated because it’s a cheap, fairly easy move as well as being extremely boring and repetitive to watch.

This is also why I don’t play Melee. Besides, I have more nostalgia for Brawl and Smash 64.
