I didn’t see his response to that as being particularly hostile honestly. It depends on what tone you read it in but he’s also kind of right though so I didn’t see it as an overtly hostile jab… It doesn’t matter if the other person doesn’t like the ship, if the creator intended for it to be a ship then that’s what it is whether the viewer wants to interpret it as that or not. There’s no need to escalate this any more than that.
 
And besides it’s not like that was real criticism anyway.

Absolute crack shipping but honestly this is cute as hell. With enough drugs you could absolutely sell this to me. It’d be a real ass pull of a ship but honestly if they were closer I can actually see how they’d be compatible in a weird way.
