Well, we all think differently in our ideas of a Dragon/Pony! You have your way and I have mine! And I respect that!

Your way to see 3 different deviation of a dragon/pony hybrid and my way is to see how other Mythological creature fits in MLP:Fim lore with Dragon/Horse creatures known in mythology!

After all, Griffins and Hippogriffs aren’t the same creature, even if the Hippogriffs did came from Griffins & Horses!

Now that’s a Dracony! Earth Pony/Dragon!
Possesses retractable claws, can bread a little fire and is the only Pony/Dragon species that can swim in lava!

Kirin are the Unicorn/ Dragon species! The Adian unicorn to be said to be part dragon!

And Longma are the Pegasus /Dragon species! These can make magic fiery wings to fly and can even cover themselves in full body of fire like the Kirin, but the body of fire is in the shape of a dragon!
