Totally agree with this. With Spike, they at least have an excuse that he’s both a dragon and more of a supporting character, but it still did him dirty and mostly shoved him into a sideliness way more than Friendship is Magic ever did.
OR they have him there but do absolutely nothing with him.
Or turn him into a love interest out of nowhere.
