The apple has lost its shimmer. No longer irresistible but now is an insatiable reminder of what it once was. Bellies will go empty and the magic these apples once held will be gone forever.

Paprika ponders what cruetly this is. Her pure intentions muddled by uncomprehensible grand design. Did her apples have that many bugs in it? Did they poison orchard? Or did her friends simply reject it and her in turn?

The highlands felt a bit colder. Paprika shivered under her fleece. She looked to skies for guidance. It was cloudy. She then held her sanity within her hooves, trying desperately to keep it together.it failed. She curled up into a ball and cried for the first time in her life.
