Rarity and Rainbow Dash were at the spa together for an afternoon of relaxation. Somehow, though Rainbow Dash was quite stubborn, she eventually came around when she found out that the Ponyville Spa offered her a service that she was looking forward to.

However, through miscommunication, Rarity and Rainbow Dash had their services reversed, making Rainbow Dash feminine, and Rarity looking more rugged. The two mares were quite unaware of this until they had finished their services, looking at each other, letting out a scream.

“Darling! What happened to you??” Rarity asked, placing a hoof over her lips. “You look… ravishing!”

“Me? What about you?” Rainbow Dash asked, pointing a hoof at her. “Why is your mane so short??”

Unable to believe each other, Rainbow Dash and Rarity looked at themselves in the mirror, once again screaming. They were their own total opposites!

“Oh, this is a disaster!!” Rarity said, her hooves rummaging through her mane. “I cannot look like this! I simply cannot!!”

“YOU?” Rainbow asked, batting her eyelashes, unintentionally showing off her eyeshadow. “I don’t even look 20% cooler now! What will the others think about me???”

And then… the two thought of their own situations. Rarity imagined a feminine Rainbow Dash showing up to her other friends, and Rainbow thought of a more tomboy-ish Rarity operating out of their shop. The thought alone was enough to make them both laugh uncontrollably, tears forming in their eyes. After composing themselves, Rarity looked at Rainbow.

“Wait until Twilight Sparkle gets a look at the new and improved you!” Rarity snickered.

“And wait until she and the others look at you!” Rainbow chuckled back at her. “Maybe you should keep your look for a bit longer.”

“Well… it sure is unique…” Rarity smiled, looking at her mane again. “Maybe I will just for a bit more…” Rainbow Dash smiled back at Rarity before laughing at herself once again in the mirror.
