I’m trying to merge the old image >>352351 (merged) up into this one where I have some of my reasoning. I thought of a wheelchair, but since pony Wheely still can fly, that felt wrong. And I can’t see “giving a human wheels instead of feet” working in EQG-verse. I can argue that human Wheely perhaps has something like MD, which makes for walking difficult, but the segway helps to get her around quickly.
the pony wheely is one with her wheels and can not optionally uses them.

I thought of that too, but for some reason I keep coming back Wheely acting like GOB from Arrested Development and basically never getting off the Segway at all.

Yea, when this struck me last night, the wheelchair was the first idea but didn’t see right insofar as Wheely’s been developed. A Segway, however…oh the possibilities!
Well… at least it’s not a wheelchair.
Doubly so if it includes a button to go “HONK HONK”
