But the episode was very well rendered. Funny and entertaining, full of random things, has some character development, Pinkie Pie wasn’t annoying as hell and the song is the best of the whole show so far.
Yes, this is the one I enjoyed the most this season. Bats! would be the second one, too bad for its ending.

Well we’re saying it’s the best one so far.
Just rewatched it and I love it so much more now. It’s very heartwarming, the pacing is good and the character interaction is fun as well. Pinkie finally felt more natural again in such a long time and bonus points for being the first AJ/Pinkie episode.

I think he was just overreacting and meant to say that there were some plotholes and that the episode had a strange lesson.
The lesson wasn’t bad, it was just weird. The plotholes were obvious but didn’t destroy the episode. It was meant to be a weird episode, and it did its job well.
So, what are these obvious plotholes and this awful lesson? Care to explain?
I wouldn’t go that far… I mean, we got Hurricane Fluttershy less than 2 years ago, didn’t we?
I didn’t like that episode either but even though it’s widely disliked, even that episode is liked by some people. There isn’t an episode that everyone really likes or dislikes. The like-dislike ratio just differs.
Pretty much this. While I still liked Bats! a bit more, I really enjoyed this one too.
