Remember, Twilight’s special talent is magic itself and she was taught directly by Celestia herself for years before the beginning of the series. Earyl season 1 Twilight is not a level 1 character, despite what Friendship is Dragons would have you believe. The average background pony is probably not going to be zipping through the æther any time soon.
But at first try?

Twilight Teleporting was in Season 1 Episode 3 “The Ticket Master” Though; That was early in the series so one might think teleporting is a fairly easy spell.
