They have jump cuts in the show that start with pony butt walking away from the camera dead center though.
Could also be the fact that there is a lot of plot right in the middle of the picture. :P

Very true. So purple = royalty, luxury, wealth, Cadbury’s chocolate…also associated in some countries with death though, iirc. xD
But even then, the colour is difficult to reproduce on computer, especially the historical ones where the descriptions are often not as consistent.
Besides, there is always a niche for the traditional luxury stuff.
I didn’t know that, but it proves my point nicely, thank you. Very hard, time-consuming, and destructive, hence the expense, hence the frequent connection to royalty.
Of course, nowadays their are processes for synthesising dyes so this is no longer directly the case; but the old connections remain in people’s thoughts and traditions. :)
A single ounce of Tyrian and Byzantine purple dye requires the murder of several Murex sea snails for their hypobranchial gland that contain the ink.
It’s also the smartest colour. ;)
And in parts of the world, of course, purple dye being so hard and expensive to make for so much of history, is associated with royalty. :)
