Rarity completely cemented herself as Best Pony for me a while back, but Applebloom was always in contention up until that point.

Logic - you need to provide reasoning to back up your logic. It’s not too far gone and I’m willing to listen to what you have to say about the character. This isn’t promising that I’ll agree with it, but I’m definitely more than willing to listen to your opinion and I’m actually pretty interested in it, to say the least. That being said, why should I believe you, man? You’re just telling me that she does bad and evil things. What bad and evil things? When? Where? I’m not saying she’s a patron saint, but I don’t see her doing anything that’s villified and I certainly don’t see her doing much more wrong than the remainder of the mane 6. You have to make mistakes in order to gain character development, and watching that character grow through the lessons learned is generally why someone grows to like a character as well as what provides most of the stories for said character. That’s only the mistakes she does make too, and I don’t think those are anywhere near as bad as the ones you’re trying to pin on her. Shit, with your reaction, I’d just as soon as assume that she killed your cat or something. You seem to view her as a bit of a Hitler, no? ..
And I actually wrote up that list because I have no life and spend a lot of my time arguing with people like you over this very topic, and I felt it could just be a quick alternative to the claim that she isn’t generous. I’ve used it enough that I think the effort I put into it was worthwhile, but all in all I think that I need more sunlight than anything xP
I digress, though - I didn’t write that last to provide reasoning as to why I think she’s best, I wrote down that last to provide reasoning and evidence as to why I think she’s generous. I got miffed with all of these people saying she didn’t live up to her element, so I just wrote that up and I’ve got great mileage out of it, I’d say. Funnily, 99% of people I show it to still say she’s not generous but never are able to provide more than one or two examples of selfish behavior - or in your case, no examples - and it’s really damned easy to find that in any of the mane 6. Moments where they didn’t live up to their elements, and I’m glad that not all of them live up to their elements 100% of the time. The show would be boring as fuck if they did and it’d just be that same “everyone is sweet and kind to each other and has tea parties” type shit that it was in G3, I think. Character driven conflict as they realistically struggle to live up to their virtues. It’s present in every single one of them and I think it’s great.

And your next paragraph doesn’t even make any sense because you start off by saying that they don’t have any development at all and then retain their negative qualities/flaws, but then you end it by saying that the writers are only writing them without those flaws and showing them as getting development just because it’s a kid’s show. What am I even supposed to say about that? You pretty much destroy your own argument yourself there .. It can’t be both of those, and I’m pretty sure that each of the mane 6 has grown in their own way since the introduction and it’s because that’s how character driven shows like FiM work. Then again, that’s just me. You just keep telling yourself that they receive no development while receiving development because of the target audience, though.
And I’m not going to agree to disagree because you’re not making any sense and I’m not going to agree with something I frankly don’t understand - you say that she’s objectively the worst pony then you say people who like her have to be bitches. The question that picture discussed WASN’T IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH WHO THE BEST PONY IS. It was a picture which claimed that Rarity is THE MOST POPULAR pony. Popular as in has the largest number of fans. So I went up and told that it is complete bullshit and that she is one of the least popular ones.
Then you ride in on your white horse and start claiming the same bullshit you’re trying to claim here: “You are wrong, defend your point, you’re speaking nonsense, I don’t believe you, etc”.
So what does any sane and reasonable person do when asked to prove his words? I go to the Herd Census site (because you were too far in denial or too lazy to google it up yourself the first 2 or 3 times I named it as my reference and instead preferred to deny or ignore I ever said anything) and give you A DIRECT LINK to MULTIPLE polls taken from THOUSANDS of bronies over SEVERAL years which state how popular each of Mane6 STATISTICALLY is.
And what do you do? You asked for actual proof of my words because you are all so fair and in the right… HOWEVER when you GOT the proof, you IGNORED IT and just SWITCHED THE TOPIC to who the best pony is - something that can’t be proved scientifically, statistically or in any other way because it is nothing more than a personal view. There you proceeded to spew forth nonsense until I became too bored to reply to you. It sucks when someone can actually disprove your daydream fantasies, doesn’t it? Better ignore it and move onto something else where no one can shatter your crystal castle?
So, seeing as you’re asking for proof just until the said proof starts contradicting your views, I’m not going to bother repeating everything I said on the other picture. Logic? Already been there, tried to use logic with your pal here. And I guess you two are basically the same type so I won’t bother with any of you. You are too far gone to listen to me and I doubt you have any real proof against my view of her character that would change it, so we’re at a stalemate.
I sure as hell know that a person like you, who spends his time to write a huge-ass list of why his waifu is the best as well as almost never favoring anything non-Rarirty related won’t agree to anything I say. So let’s be honest, why bother?
A lack of reply doesn’t mean that you are right, more often it means that the other person got bored with how retarded or stubborn you are.
You all try to show that I’m in the wrong but in fact the very notion of how obsessed you are with defending her from me shows that you are insecure about her bad qualities (of which I named plenty in the other poll).
Also, I’ll tell it again: good deeds don’t redeem evil ones or being a crappy character. And as far as I seen, your friend prefers to claim all her bad qualities as writer’s slip-up/poor joke. Also, Mane6 don’t learn almost anything over episodes and most often forget their lessons in the very next episode so don’t even start telling me that her bad qualities have been magically “fixed”. It’s a kid’s show, of course they will show them fixed and her becoming better, what I try to do though is filter out the veil of utopic kid’s show for retards and take a realistic look on things.
That being said, let’s just agree to disagree. I’m NOT wrong, neither are you. It’s a question with no definite answer. All we can do is compare the number of negative traits (which I tried to do on the other pic since Rarity has A LOT of them) or motivations and life goals (like creating clothes for high class snobby nobility vs weather work for local community + emergency response team captain to save lives + joining the elite military corp) but even then none of the parties involved are capable of objectively judging the results.

If someone disagrees with you, that doesn’t necessarily make them wrong. I wrote a long post explaining why I thought you weren’t correct and you didn’t even try to reply. How is anyone supposed to believe that you’re in the right when you just shrug off everyone who disagrees with you as an asshole?
You also fail to list any reasoning behind why these or negative qualities and fail to provide any examples of her acting on these perceived negative qualities. You don’t even cite evidence, you essentially just tell everyone that she’s a greedy bitch and you’re invariably correct. Your word is not absolute nor is it infallible, and you have to use reasoning and logic in order to support your logic if you want anyone to even as much as take your word serioulsly.
