The paralels were the feelings Twi and Celestia both had. THAT is what’s the same. Not the situation.Twi’s problem was the one Discord mentioned. She feels that Starlight is beyond basic lessons that she can teach her as a mentor. So she panicked, because in her mind Celestia had a plan in place for her from the beginning.Twi realized that when she’d reached a certain point in her lessons with Tia, Tia sent her away, so she feels that that’s what she needs to do with Starlight. The situations aren’t the same other than the idea of mentors sending their students away to learn and grow by themselves once the student reached a point where their mentors one on one lessons are no longer enough.The situations aren’t the same. What IS the same is the feeling Twi and Celestia were having. They felt they’d become obsolete if their students left them.

Shy’s got great parents. Would like to see them more.I would also like to see Zephyr retain some of his less than pleasant nature carried over to his newer, slightly more responsible self. After all, he is still Zephyr.
