First off, that wouldn’t be a leak since it’s an official release.
Second, sometimes they straight up don’t come announced.
Again, I don’t know for sure if we’re getting more material this year, I merely think we will.

Yes, I agree - it’s a great, and very underrated song (and scene) - but I think part of the reason why the song isn/t more recognized, is what happens right after this scene - when Sci-Twi is absolutelly tormented, and mentally broken over struggling with her powers and her evil self, signing even a beautiful song…a moment latter, she walks into Timber, and starts to behave like stereotypical schoolgirl in love with Timber, completelly forgetting her issues, without any explanation or sense for it…
This, I think, removed for a lot part of the intended impact of both the song, and Twilight’s storyline - as the move disrupted it, multiple times, and with mood swing, with her romance with Timber, Twilight unrealistically completelly forgetting about her issues.
(and this is not the only time this happens during the movie)
As I told before, this is why I (and many others) specifically dislike this romance - I (and others) think it actually undermines the good parts of Legend of Everfree as well Twilight’s character arc in the movie, and feels at least times completelly disconnected from the rest of the story (ie the romance of Twilight and Timber had no impact on Twilight overcomming her issues, or on the storyline with Gloriosa).
Or at least that’s mine (and many others) opinion XD

the bigger issue is they tried to copy paste Sunset’s Arc onto a lesser character, so they could still have Twilight as the lead, EQG would have been allot better off just using the mane 6 as Sunset’s secondary cast since she’s the only great character in the lot,

Well, I disagree - Sunset’s Rainbow Rocks and (partly Friendship Games) Sci-Twi’s Midniht Sparkle trauma storyline - Sunset was less traumatized by her transformation, and didn’t fear it, and more riddled with guilt, and ostratized by nearly everyone, whileSci-Twi was specifically traumatized by becoming Midnight, and haunted by the expirience.
Twilight also all the time not only felt guilt, but was terrified she will by accident hurt her loved ones, or even become Midnight again (and endanger the whole world). This isn’t something Sunset expirienced, esppecially that poor Sci-Twi outright considered and called herself a monster at this point for that.
In other words - there are some similarities between the two story arcs, but are quite different enough, to not be a copy of one another. And evn similarity between Sci-Twi’s and Sunset arcs, is meant to be part of the motive Sunset and Sci-Twi are birds of a feather, and increadibly tied together.

And the worst part? It doesn’t even do anything in the long run (in terms of Sci-Twi character arc) - in other scenes, Sci-Twi is getting worse, and worse.

Like, damn, I don’t think that strongly about it at all, or Scitwi as a whole for that matter, and all I remember about Legend Of Everfree was that I used the boots worn by some males/females as refs for my own art.
idk what that says about me, but I don’t think that deeply about it, just don’t like it when people feel the need to justify their opinions by tacking on anonymous or vague mentions of others who agree with them is all.
