Unpopular opinion time

The only way to restore the show is to just forget everything and just have the next 13 episodes all Lighting Dust doing oppa style dancing! :D
 
but seriously though, interesting to catch up on things and still see the general ratings for a lot of things are still the same, that you have to say you like Season 6 in the unpopular opinion thread. x3 Who’d have thought it’d ever come to this? I surely didn’t, This show was my bread and butter, the show that could always make me smile when other things couldn’t.
 
Actually, Seasons 1-5 still do, so Sweet ^^,
 
is it unpopular opinion to hope that the show doesn’t go to Season 7?  
(or that they get their better writers back from Disney so we are not left with rookies)

Oh man I was hated on in the comment section because I didn’t like Antho 5. Antho 4 was pointless and then Antho 5 felt like no effort was put into it besides kid jokes.

the rumor is they manipulated the content id system and ban also juuust so happened to take place after the writer for Mentally advanced had the audacity to criticize FiW and they got into a fight sherclop also called Mentally advanced sexist.

Just to show how the series “progressed,” the first one ended with a Scrubs reference. The second and third ones ended with Stanley Kubrick references. The fifth one ended in a “LOLOL BRONIES ARE FAT PEDOPHILES” joke.

What’s unlikable about Rarity though? She’s altruistic, empathetic and brave among many other things, she has her bad traits too but they are overshadowed by the good. Seriously all the Mane 6 are likable for the most part.

I think even people who don’t like Starlight can agree she was a way better villain than Sunset.
 
But yeah the nitpicking and focus on minor crap annoys me a lot too, always has. I remember back in S4 when Rarity Takes Manehattan aired like half the discussion was about the Taxi Driver not giving Twilight special treatment or something. It just struck me as utterly pointless and dumb. It’s such a minor little thing, who really cares?

Look up the “Battle of the Bands” song. If you don’t get it after that, then there’s probably not much else that’ll convince you.

In a solely musical competition that wasn’t rigged by magical cheating and/or nepotism, the Dazzlings definitely should have won. Their songs were all better than Trixie’s or the mane 6’s.

i still think dashie was just as guilty as lightning dust. she had the exact same disregard of their comrades, (sure she was a bit opposed to it but she still did nothing about it) and only gave a shit when her friends were endangered.

It seems like only Rarity and Fluttershy (in their normal outfits) dress remotely like how normal teenagers dress. The others, though… I mean, Dash is wearing a shirt on top of a T shirt and shorts underneath her skirt, Applejack is wearing something highly impractical for bucking apples, and Sunset is wearing a jacket with military stripes for some reason on top of a blue… what even is that? A shirt? A blouse? A dress? She looks like a cross between Joan Jett and Queen Elsa. And that’s not even counting their Battle of the Bands, Fall Formal, and Friendship Games outfits. Bleh.
 
But no, seriously, it would appear that they have a shitload of money at their disposal. How else would you explain them having enough money to somehow rent a limo in the first movie, and Vinyl’s car-amp thing in the second movie?

Starlight is definitely cuter than Sunset, though. Though maybe that’s just because the ponies are cuter than the EQG humans, and Sunset hasn’t really had an opportunity to look cute as a pony, whereas Starlight has only ever been a pony.

Ehhh, I always liked Sunset’s design better though, both pony and human. Starlight didn’t make a big impression on me when I saw her for the first time, she’s like an Aria X Twilight offspring or something.
